Warm and muggy conditions continue

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — We had a humid, but slightly cooler, Wednesday across central Indiana with morning showers and storms mainly south of interstate 70.

Wednesday night:

Scattered showers and storms are possible this evening. Lows bottom out in the upper 60s to low 70s.

Thursday:

We will continue the warm and muggy trend for your Thursday with spotty showers possible in the afternoon and nighttime hours.

Highs top out in the mid to upper 80s.

Friday:

The end of the work week will feature plentiful sunshine and some dry time. We will remain warm and muggy with highs topping out in the upper 80s.

8 Day Forecast:

The warming trend will continue into the weekend with 90s for the high temperature returning to the forecast. Heat index values may reach the triple digits. Rain chances will increase Sunday night with numerous showers and storms possible for next Monday. Cooler air looks to work its way into the state next week.
