Warm temperatures on the way with continuing rain chances

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — We had a cloudy, cool, and breezy Wednesday across central Indiana.

Wednesday night:

Expect mostly cloudy skies with breezy winds and dry conditions for your Wednesday night.

Lows dip into the low 50s.

Thursday:

We will have another cloudy day for your Thursday, but we will be slightly warmer with our afternoon high temperatures. As we warm up in the afternoon, a few spotty sprinkles are possible south of interstate 70. Clouds will slightly clear out for the nighttime hours.

Highs top out in the mid to upper 60s.

Friday:

We look to begin your Friday under mostly cloudy skies with dry conditions. It will be partly sunny by the afternoon hours, which will help boost our afternoon high temperatures. There is the chance for a stray shower in the afternoon hours.

Highs climb back to around normal for this time of the year in the mid 70s.

8 Day Forecast:

Prepare for a more summer like feel as we go throughout the weekend with heat and humidity settling in. Most of your Saturday looks to be dry with isolated storms developing in the afternoon and then on and off scattered storms throughout your Sunday. Memorial Day will see continuing chances for showers and storms as the hot and humid pattern sticks around. High temperatures will warm into the low to mid 80s through the weekend and into Memorial Day.
