Warm weekend with rain chances ahead
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — We ended the work week on a warm and slightly humid note. Rain chances look to increase for our weekend.
Friday night:
We will have a mild and muggy night ahead with spotty showers lingering south of interstate 70. Lows will dip into the upper 60s.
Saturday:
Isolated showers and storms are possible Saturday afternoon and night as skies will remain partly cloudy. Spotty shower chances will continue through the overnight hours into Sunday.
We cannot rule out isolated strong to severe storms for northwestern Indiana with damaging winds and hail as the main threats.
We will have a warm and humid day on tap with highs in the mid 80s.
Sunday:
A few spotty showers are possible before the mid-afternoon hours Sunday, courtesy of a weak disturbance. Not everyone will get in on the rain as most of us will remain dry through the day. High temperatures will be slightly cooler as we will top out in the low 80s.

We get to reopen the door on a cooling trend through next week. Enjoy a fantastic week of weather with low humidity and plentiful sunshine. High temperatures will remain in the upper 70s to low 80s with rain chances returning by the end of the work week.
