A cold day with snow to round up the week

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – There will be tumbling temperatures Friday morning with a cold front passing through the state. Temperatures will cool to the lower 30s with a few rays of sunshine in the morning. Clouds will thicken Friday afternoon with a system passing south bringing snow showers to southern portions of the state. Temperatures overnight will cool to the lower 20s.

Indianapolis (WISH) 

Saturday will be the better of the two days with mostly sunny skies. Highs are headed to the upper 30s near 40°.

A second system will move in Sunday bringing a better chance of snow showers to the state. A scattered snow showers with some pockets of some heavier snow. Accumulation will be very minor, with areas north of I-70 squeezing out an inch or so with areas north of the city around 1-2”. High temperatures will warm to the mid 30s.

Monday will start dry with sun and clouds. Highs will warm to the lower 40s and will stay in the lower 40s with sun and clouds. A mix is possible through the day on Wednesday with highs in the upper 30s and lower 40s. We’ll wrap up the work week on a quiet note with highs warming to the lower to mid 40s.
