Additional rain chances ahead, cooler air to follow
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — After a very active Monday, we quieted things down for our Tuesday. Cloudy skies were around to start the day, but sunshine made its way into the picture later in the afternoon across part of the state.
Tuesday night: Skies will become partly cloudy as we work in a cooler night with light winds. Lows will fall into the low to mid 50s.
Wednesday: A nice start to our Wednesday is expected, but we will see rain chances return with isolated development throughout the day.
Highs will rise into the mid 70s.
Thursday: Keep the rain gear handy throughout your Thursday as on and off showers and storms are possible throughout the day. No severe weather is expected at this time.
A slightly warmer day looks to be on tap as we climb into the upper 70s to low 80s.
8-Day Forecast: Showers and storm chances are in place through Friday before we gradually dry things out going into the weekend. Fall like weather will make a return this weekend with highs in the low to mid 60s. Comfortable conditions look to persist into next week.
