Another wet night before sunshine returns

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — We’re tracking scattered storms as they move out of the state. 

Monday Night:
After a wet night, showers and storms are moving out of the state. Temperatures will remain mild in the mid-60s overnight.

Tuesday:
Enjoy the best weather day of the week. We finally dry out Tuesday under plenty of sunshine. We’re warming up Tuesday afternoon; expect temperatures in the low 80s. Winds will pick up, at times becoming breezy, with winds at 10-20 mph. 

Wednesday:
The warming trend continues Wednesday as temperatures warm to the mid to upper 80s. A few isolated showers and storms will develop, bringing rain back to the forecast. 

8-Day forecast: 
The heat and humidity will increase as we head into the weekend. The warmest air of the year will arrive as we end the workweek.

Expect temperatures in the upper 80s to low 90s Thursday through Sunday. Heat index values will approach the mid 90s this weekend. Storm chances will return to the forecast Friday.
