Another winter storm on the way

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Central Indiana’s next winter storm will move in overnight and bring heavy snow, gusty winds and the coldest air of the season.

A winter storm warning has been issued for areas along and north of I-70 from 4 a.m Saturday until 4 a.m Sunday.

A winter weather advisory has been issued for areas south of I-70.

Tonight: Cloudy with temperatures in the low 30s. A rain-snow mix will move in after midnight.
Tomorrow: From 4 to 7 inches of snow are expected for most of the state with isolated 7-plus-inch totals mainly northeast of Indy. Some areas along and south of I-70 will see freezing rain. A thin layer of ice remains possible late morning into early afternoon. It will be windy with blowing snow by afternoon or evening.

Tomorrow night: Snow will continue to fall. It’ll be windy and much colder. Low, 9.

Sunday: Flurries are possible early. The coldest air of the season will settle in with high temperatures in the teens. The actual air temperature will fall below zero Sunday night. 

8 Day Forecast: Partly sunny and very cold on Monday with high temperatures around 20. Precipitation will develop Tuesday and bring a rain-snow mix to the forecast. Snow showers are expected throughout the day on Wednesday.
