Below normal temperatures continue this week

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Temperatures fall to near freezing overnight.  Rain returns to the forecast this weekend.

Tonight:

Dry weather continues tonight, with just a few fair weather clouds in some of our northern and northeastern counties.  Otherwise, we’re quiet and colder, with lows falling to the middle 30s.

Wednesday:

Expecting mostly sunny conditions, with slightly cooler temperatures through the day.  Highs hit the middle 50s.

Thursday:

Should be a fairly quiet, but cooler day.  Clouds will be on the increase through the afternoon, but should remain dry.  Highs struggle to hit 50° in many locations.

8 day forecast:

Rain returns to the forecast as an upper level system strolls through the Midwest starting Friday.  Scattered light showers will be possible as we close out the work week.  Might catch a break for the most part on Saturday, as we get sandwiched between to systems, but a few isolated showers can’t be ruled out.  Scattered rain returns on Sunday and into Monday morning, before the system exits to the east, leaving us dry starting Tuesday.  Temperatures will remain below average for the next week.
