Chilliest Night of the Season
According the the astronomical calendar, Fall arrived almost 3 weeks ago. But this is the first really Fall-like weekend with sunny skies and crisp cool weather.
Tonight – Clear skies and chilly temperatures. Down to 42 degrees by Sunday morning.
Sunday – Quite cool to start the day but temperatures rising to just about average for this time in October. High 66.
Monday – Slightly warmer. Temperatures in the upper 40s Monday morning. High Monday afternoon about 70.
So Far this Fall it has not started to look much like Fall with changing leaf colors. Mostly green looking over Morgan County. But now some Fall-like chill is on the way.
After Fall arrived on September 22, we are only now seeing our first weekend with crisp Fall-like temperatures. Tonight upper 30s to low 40s expected.
We only reached 61 in Indianapolis today but slightly warmer temperatures are expected with sunny skies Sunday.
The Colts are saying the roof and window will be open for Sunday’s game. And anywhere in central Indiana, it will be a great Fall day.
8 Day Outlook – A dry week ahead with the exception of some scattered showers Thursday. Temperatures a little above average in the 70s through Wednesday. then getting chilly again Starting Thursday through next weekend.
