INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A mild start to the morning with temperatures in the lower 50s with a mostly clear sky. Loads of sunshine for Tuesday with highs warming to the upper 60s with a few spots in the lower 70s. A few clouds will build late Tuesday night with temperatures cooling to the mid-40s.
On Wednesday a few more clouds with temperatures running a bit cooler compared to the first half of the week. Highs will top out in the lower 60s with spotty showers through the afternoon. Our next system increases winds from the south boosting temperatures to the lower 70s Thursday afternoon. Winds could gust as highs as 30 mph. Should be a mainly dry afternoon with cloudy skies. Chance of showers and storms will increase late in the evening with some on the stronger side. There is a slight risk of severe weather in western Indiana and a marginal risk in Indianapolis.
A few lingering showers early Friday with a bit of breeze and much cooler with highs in the upper 50s and lower 60s. Cooler air will continue to funnel in for the weekend with highs in the mid to upper 50s Saturday with partly sunny skies and lower 50s Sunday with scattered showers.
