Comfortable weekend is ahead

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Cooler temperatures and lower humidity to come for the weekend.

TONIGHT: We will have another warm night with the chance for scattered showers and possible storms in the evening hours. There could be a rogue strong to severe storm with gusty winds possible. A marginal risk for severe weather is still in play for all of Indiana, however, heavy rainfall and lightning will likely be the main players through late tonight. Rain should exit by the overnight hours.

Lows will dip towards the 70 degree mark.

FRIDAY: An isolated shower chance is possible during the early morning hours. Besides the small rain chance, we will be dry throughout day with clearing skies.

Highs will rise into the low 80’s, which is much closer to average for this time of year.

The biggest difference will be the much lower humidity, especially as we head into the afternoon.

WEEKEND: A beautiful weekend on tap as temperatures stay in the mid 80’s. Humidity values will remain low as seasonable and dry air settles in for the weekend. We will also remain dry for the entire weekend.

8 DAY FORECAST: The heat is unfortunately set to return as early as Monday. The next chance for rain will be on Tuesday, and high temperatures continue to hover around the 90° mark. The middle of the week looks to remain dry before another chance of rain appears for Friday.
