Cool temperatures to continue Tuesday

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Well below average temperatures to open up the work week.

Tonight:

Quiet conditions with cooler temperatures into the overnight. Lows fall to the middle 40s across the area.

Tuesday:

Should be mostly dry for most of central Indiana. Can’t rule out a stray shower or two – especially for northern counties.

We’ll still run cool, with highs in the middle and upper 60s.

Better chances for showers and storms move in late Tuesday overnight into Wednesday morning.

Wednesday:

Scattered showers and storms should weaken during the pre-dawn hours as they move into the state. Highs top out in the lower 80s

8 day forecast:

Summer set up for the back half of the week into the holiday weekend. 80s return in full forecast, with daily isolated storm chances. Feels like temps on Friday could exceed 90°. A few storms will also be possible both Saurday and Sunday, but too early to talk timing or coverage.
