Cool Tuesday, gradual warmup to follow

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — We worked our way into a dry and much warmer Monday after a soggy and chilly Mother’s Day.

Monday night: A few isolated showers will continue to be possible through much of our Monday night.

Another chilly night is ahead as lows will dip into the mid 30s to low 40s. Patchy frost will develop for areas mainly north of interstate 70.

Tuesday: Areas of frost will linger through the early morning hours before clouds begin to partially clear out. A cool Tuesday will be on tap as highs will only manage to rise into the upper 50s to low 60s.

Wednesday: We will get off to a cold start for our Wednesday with temperatures in the mid to upper 30s. This will lead way to a slightly warmer afternoon with highs topping out in the low to mid 60s.

8 Day Forecast: The gradual warming trend will continue through the remainder of the workweek. A nice and bright end to the workweek is expected for our Friday. We will eventually push our way back into the 70s by Sunday with returning rain chances. Near to above normal temperatures look to continue into next week.
