Cooler temperatures and showers return
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Extreme heat and sun will be moving aside as a cold front is expected to move into the area starting tomorrow to bring rain and cooler temperatures.
TONIGHT: Warm tonight with the in the mid 70s with a chance of showers and isolated storms starting around 8 PM. Chances will diminish over night into the morning hours.
TOMORROW: Central Indiana is in a marginal risk for severe weather tomorrow. A clear, muggy start to the day is expected with temperatures reaching to about 90° for the high. The cold front will move southward through the state early evening which will bring a greater chance for pop-up storms and showers into the night. Main concerns will be hail and gusty winds with these pulse like storms.
The low will be in the mid 70s with a chance of storms sticking around into the early overnight hours.
WEDNESDAY: Highs will be below 90° with temperatures expected to be in the mid 80s. Scattered shower chances will stick around for majority of the day. The low will be in the 60s.
8-DAY FORECAST: Rain and cooler temperatures will return this week with temperatures even below 80° on Thursday. Scattered and isolated storms are expected throughout the work week into the weekend. We will start out next week with partly cloudy skies with mid to upper 80 temperatures.
