Dry end to the weekend

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — After a soggy few days, we’re going to dry out for the end of the weekend.

TODAY: A few showers will be possible for the first part of Saturday. Clouds hang around for much of the day but showers begin to diminish later on. Temperatures stay pretty steady in the middle 50s. Highs near 55.

TONIGHT: Skies remain partly to mostly cloudy overnight. The clouds begin to break up a little. It becomes cool as temperatures fall into the middle 40s. Lows will be around 46.

SUNDAY: We’re in store for a great end to the weekend. Look for sunshine on Sunday, as it stays dry with highs in the upper 50s. If you’re tailgating at the Colts game, we’ll see sunshine and temperatures in the lower 50s. By game time, temperatures climb into the upper 50s with dry conditions. Later in the evening, it stays dry as kids head out to trick or treat. Temperatures drop a little into the 50s and eventually the upper 40s by the end of the night.

MONDAY: It’s going to be a chilly start Monday morning. Look for temperatures to start in the upper 30s in many spots. Frost will be likely. It stays dry Monday with partly cloudy skies and highs in the lower 50s.

8DAY FORECAST: Temperatures stay on the cool side for the rest of the week. Normal highs for this time of year are near 60. We’ll stay in the upper 40s near 50 for the rest of the week. Nighttime lows fall into the 30s and by the end of the week we may see our first freeze of the fall season. It doesn’t look like we’ll see any rain this week, either. There may be a few showers in southern Indiana late Wednesday into early Thursday but most of the state stays dry for the next week.
