Dry for Thanksgiving Day

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — After a soggy and breezy Wednesday, a dry and calm Thanksgiving Day is ahead for the state.

Wednesday night: Rain will continue to move out through the first half of tonight, leaving us with mainly cloudy skies. There could be a few breaks in the clouds.

Lows will once again dip into the mid 40s.

Thanksgiving Day: We will get to enjoy a rain-free day for the holiday, but skies will remain cloudy. The cloudy skies will hold our high temperatures in the upper 40s to low 50s.

Friday: A nice end to the workweek is expected as we will work in some sunshine. This will help out our temperatures a little bit with highs rising into the low to mid 50s.

8 Day Forecast: A slight cooldown will work its way into the forecast for the weekend with high temperatures in the upper 40s. We will then see a bigger shot of colder air sink into the state through much of next week. Rain and snow showers are possible for Monday with more snow chances for Tuesday and Wednesday.
