Evening storms with more heat and humidity next week
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH)– Hot and humid conditions continue this week, with chances for showers and thunderstorms.
TONIGHT: Thunderstorms will remain possible, especially early tonight south of Indianapolis. It will be a mild and muggy night, with low temperatures dropping to around 70 degrees.
MONDAY: Partly cloudy skies, along with some spotty thunderstorms are expected. It will be another warm and humid day, with high temperatures approaching 89 degrees. Be sure to stay hydrated and continue to take extra precautions to stay cool if you have outdoor plans.
MONDAY NIGHT: Spotty thunderstorms will linger into tomorrow night. Skies will be mostly cloudy, with low temperatures dropping to around 70 degrees.
8-DAY FORECAST: Warm and humid conditions will be the story each of the next eight days. High temperatures will be in the upper 80s to low 90s. Our best chances for thunderstorms looks to be from Tuesday through Thursday, with storms becoming more spotty in nature by Friday and at times throughout next weekend.
