INDIANAPOLIS (WISH)–An isolated shower possible this evening otherwise hot and very humid for Sunday.
TONIGHT: Look for a few clouds this evening and just a slight chance for an isolated shower or storm. Skies begin to clear overnight with mild and muggy conditions. Lows stay in the low to middle 70s.
SUNDAY: It’s going to be dangerously hot and humid. Skies stay mostly sunny for the first part of the day. TEmperatures climb into the low and even middle 90s in many spots. High humidity values will make heat index values or feels like temperatures between 100 and 105.
There’s a Heat Advisory in effect from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday for the dangerous conditions. Be sure to drink plenty of fluids and get inside when you can Sunday.
Showers and thunderstorms begin to pop later in the afternoon and early evening. Some of the thunderstorms may be on the stronger side with gusty winds,m heavy rainfall and hail. The Storm Prediction Center has much of Indiana under a slight risk that storms may become strong.
SUNDAY NIGHT: A few thunderstorms will be possible with muggy and breezy conditions. Lows fall into the lower 70s.
MONDAY: Another hot day on Monday. Highs climb into the lower 90s with showers and thunderstorms possible.
8DAY FORECAST: The high heat and humidity continues for the first part of the workweek. Look for highs in the lower 90s on Monday and Tuesday. Temperatures fall back into the middle and upper 80s for the rest of the week. Showers and storms will be possible through Wednesday and Thursday. It looks like we’ll see dry conditions for the start of next weekend.
