Icy start to the morning with more winter weather on the way!
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A cold and icy start to the morning with freezing drizzle and freezing fog. Roads could get icy and slick for the morning commute with temperatures starting below freezing. Freezing precipitation will end during the morning hours but will leave behind a lot of cloud cover. Highs will warm to the lower to mid 30s. Tonight clouds will stick with us holding temperatures in the lower 30s and upper 20s.
Wednesday will be another cloudy day with a few breaks in the clouds allowng for little sunshine. Highs near seasonal in the upper 30s.
Thursday our first of two weather systems arrives and bring a mix during the morning with rain, snow, sleet and freezing rain then transition to rain from Indy and points southward with mainly snow in northern Indiana. Highs will hold steady in the lower 30s.
Friday we have a brief break before another potent winter system moves in for the weekend with several inchea of snow possible and gusty winds! There’ll be a sharp cut off of snow. Stay will stormtrack8 with snow totals through the week.
