Mild start to the week with an isolated shower possible today

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — After a wet weekend we’re starting the work week on a dry note!

Partly sunny to start the morning and crisp with temperatures starting in the lower 60s. Breaks in the clouds will allow for some sunshine this afternoon. Highs today will stay just cooler than the seasonal high, topping out in the upper 70s and lower 80s.

An isolated shower is possible with that pesky upper level low that gave us showers and storms all weekend long. Not everyone will see showers for today, in fact, most of the state stay dry. Tonight showers will fizzle out by 9 pm and with give way to partly cloudy skies.

Tuesday will be another trend. Temperatures will start in the mid to lower 60s with a few rays of sunshine for the morning and early afternoon. An isolated shower possible with an approaching cold front. Highs will begin to climb to the mid 80s for this afternoon high. Wednesday will be a warmer day with highs at or above the seasonal mark topping out in the upper 80s. Thursday’s highs will start to trend a touch cooler with highs in the mid 80s with an isolated shower chance during the afternoon.

Friday will cooler and dry with lots of sunshine. Next chance of rain arrives this weekend with highs in the lower 80s.
