More rain to swing in for Wednesday

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — We got to work in a mostly dry picture for our Tuesday with the exception of some areas receiving patchy drizzle at times. Some sunshine got to also peek into the picture, which helped temperatures rise into the mid 70s. Rain chances are set to ramp back up for the second half of the week.

Tuesday night: Areas of patchy drizzle and light rain will continue to be possible this evening. Skies will stay mostly cloudy as we drop into the low 60s for our low temperatures.

Wednesday: Areas of fog may be around to start our Wednesday. You will want to have the rain gear on hand before you head out in the morning. Isolated to scattered showers are possible through the morning hours with coverage becoming more isolated by the afternoon. Extra development is expected as we get into the nighttime hours.

Despite the cloud cover and rain, another mild and above average day will be on tap. Highs will top out in the mid 70s.

Thursday: Active weather continues into our Thursday as rain showers and isolated storms will be on and off throughout the day.

Highs will continue to stay above average as we rise into the mid 70s.

8-Day Forecast: A few showers and isolated storms could be in play for Friday before we dry out in time for the upcoming weekend. We will bring in a warm and dry weekend with highs sliding into the low 80s. Additional rain chances are in place for next Monday. Above average temperatures look to persist into midweek next week.
