Much warmer Tuesday, rain returns Wednesday

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A cold start to the workweek was the story across the state for our Monday. Scattered rain and snow showers moved in during the afternoon hours as we kept lots of cloud cover around.

Monday night: Snow flurries will continue to be possible through the evening hours. Clouds will partially decrease after sunset. Lows will fall into the low 30s.

Tuesday: Enjoy a much warmer and pleasant Tuesday on tap with lots of sunshine around. Tuesday will be the best weather day of the week with highs rising into the mid 50s to low 60s.

Wednesday: Cloud cover is set to increase going into our Wednesday ahead of our next weather system. Winds will also pick up a bit going into Wednesday afternoon. Rain showers are likely in the afternoon and nighttime hours.

Highs are set to climb into the low to mid 60s.

8-Day Forecast: Once Wednesday’s system moves out of the state, we will quickly plummet back into the 40s for the remainder of the week. Temperatures look to rebound towards the 50s by Sunday. There is a low chance for showers on Sunday at this time.
