Nice Friday, pleasant weekend to follow
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — After another cold start to the day, we strolled into a cool and calm afternoon with abundant sunshine. We are continuing to track a warmup on the way as we move into the upcoming weekend.
Thursday night: We will once again drop below freezing across the state with skies staying mainly clear. Lows will fall into the upper 20 to low 30s. If you are heading out to the Colts game against the Jets tonight, be sure to have a warm jacket on hand.
Friday: Enjoy a nice end to the workweek as we return to the 50s for our high temperatures. Mainly clear skies will stick around with winds staying light.
Weekend: The warming trend is set to continue throughout our upcoming weekend. Fantastic weather conditions are expected for both Saturday and Sunday with highs going from the mid to 50s to the low 60s. Lots of sunshine will help aid in the weekend being absolutely fantastic for any outdoor plans!
8-Day Forecast: We will have a mild and marvelous start to the new workweek next week. This warmer air will eventually lead way for the return of rain chances. Rain chances look to persist through the end of next week. A gradual cooling trend will move into the forecast by midweek next week.
