Nice Friday, then rainy for Saturday

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Much of the state managed to get into the 50s today with a mix of sun and clouds. Breezy winds stuck around throughout the day as well.

Thursday night: Prepare for another cold night with cloud cover sticking around. Lows will dip into the mid 30s.

Friday: Warmer air will continue to move into the state with skies becoming partly cloudy. Isolated showers look to develop late Friday after a mainly dry afternoon. Winds will continue to stay breezy as well. Highs will rise into the upper 50s to low 60s.

Weekend: Have the rain gear ready for Saturday as widespread rain showers will overtake the state for a majority of the day. We can’t rule out isolated storms, but no severe weather is expected. Highs will only manage to get into the mid to upper 50s for Saturday. We will dry out by Sunday with highs in the low 60s.

8 Day Forecast: Much warmer air will swing into our area for Monday and continuing into Tuesday with highs returning to the 70s. We will get another chance to try and hit our first 80° day next Tuesday. This fantastic warm air will eventually lead way for rain and storm chances by next Wednesday before a cooldown moves in for the remainder of next week.
