One more nice day before heavy rain returns!

A mild start to the morning with mainly sunny skies. It’ll be a toasty day with highs above the seasonal mark, topping out in the upper 80s. Clouds will begin to thicken up during the afternoon with our next approaching storm system. Showers and storms are going to hold off until after midnight and wil start to become widespread during the day on Wednesday and Thursday. 

Indianapolis (WISH) 

Highs for Wednesday will get significantly cooler with most areas in the lower 80s and upper 70s. Rai and storms likely during the day with areas southwest of Indianapolis under a Marginal Risk of strong to severe thunderstorms. Main threats will be hail, gusty winds and heavy rain which could result in some minor flooding. Rain and storms will continue through Thursday. Marginal risk of strong to severe storms possible for southeastern Indiana. Highs still cool, topping out in the lower 80s. 

Friday will bea  slightly drier day with a chance of scattered showers during the morning. Highs by the end of the week will rebound to the middle 80s. Showers and storms will stick around for the early half of the day on Saturday with a bit of drier air moving in by late Saturday. Highs will top out near seasonal, in the middle 80s. Dry for the day on Sunday with highs in the mid 80s. 

Showers and storms will return by the beginning of te work week next week with highs in the lower to mid 80s.
