Quiet end to the week with storms Saturday

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A glorious end to the week! Temperatures start in the lower 30s with mostly cloudy skies. Highs will warm to the mid to upper 40s Friday afternoon with more clouds than sunshine. Lows Friday night will stay mild and cool to the mid 30s with a cloudy sky.

A few isolated showers are possible overnight and through the morning hours of Saturday. A potent low pressure will pass through and bring showers and storms through the afternoon. Severe weather threat has been shifted south of Indianapolis with a Marginal Risk of severe storms in southern Indiana. The main threat will be damaging winds and minor flooding. Highs will feel a lot like spring soaring to the lower 60s. Storms and rain will pick up in coverage during the afternoon and evening with the best threat of stronger storms closer to dinner time. Showers and storms will move out by midnight

Indianapolis (WISH) 

Sunday will be a starkly different day with highs in the mid 40s with winds picking up out of the west up wards up 35-40 mph with gusts pushing 50s mph. A few flurries are possible during the morning with partly sunny skies during the afternoon.

Quiet start to the work week next week, both Monday and Tuesday with highs in lower 40s Monday, while warming to the lower 50s Tuesday. A few sprinkles possible Wednesday.
