Rain continues today; sunshine returns Sunday
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Scattered showers and above average temperatures continue to start off the weekend.
Today:
Scattered showers continue across portions of central Indiana – mainly for the southern half of the state. Expect on and off showers through the remainder of the day.
Temperatures remain steady – and above average, with highs in the middle 40s.
Tonight:
Low pressure system responsible for the late week rain will finally pull away later tonight – ending our rain chances from northwest to southeast. Most of the state should be dry after Midnight, with decreasing clouds.
Overnight lows fall to the middle 30s.
Sunday:
Beautiful day on tap, as dry air settles in. Expect a mix of sun and clouds, but more sunshine as we head into the afternoon. Highs hit the upper 40s.
8 day forecast:
Pretty quiet and seasonably mild forecast for the first half of the work week. Expect temps to fall back a bit Monday – but rebound back to the middle 40s by mid week. Next storm system moves in Thursday and Friday, with mostly rain both days – but could be cold enough for snow to mix in from time to time on Friday.
