Rainy through Friday, dry by the weekend

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — We transitioned into a wet and cloudy Thursday across the state. This active pattern is set to continue through Friday before we dry out just in time for the last weekend of the month.

Thursday night: Showers will persist throughout our Thursday night with areas of heavier rain possible. Areas of patchy fog may develop as well.

Lows will only dip into the low 50s.

Friday: Expect more of the same weather from Thursday for our Friday. On and off showers are likely during the day. Flooding will remain a concern.

Highs will be near average as we top out in the upper 50s.

Weekend: Isolated showers are possible before sunrise Saturday. By the the afternoon hours, we will finally see the activity out of the state. Highs will once again push into the upper 50s for Saturday. Then, we settle into a nice Halloween with highs in the low 60s and lots of sunshine. It will be a fantastic night for trick-or-treaters.

8-Day Forecast: Cooler air is set to quickly return as additional rain chances move in closer to midweek. Below normal temperatures look to persist into the end of next week with highs only in the 40s.
