Remnants of Florence to bring isolated rain and breezy conditions Monday

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Good Sunday evening, everyone! We’ve see a partly to mostly Sunny end to the weekend and with the abundance of sunshine, highs still managed to top out in the upper 80s in most areas.

Through the evening hours, temperatures will slowly sink into the mid 70s with increasing clouds. A few rain showers are possible, but most of us will stay dry until Monday.

Overnight low temps will drop only into the mid to upper 60s in most areas with a blanket of clouds. Isolated showers are possible, though unlikely for the morning commute.

Better chances for rain and gusty winds will come tomorrow afternoon, though more of us than not will stay dry.

The better rain and wind opportunities are courtesy of the remnants of Florence which are headed our direction.

The worst of the storm will miss us to the east, but we will see some impacts regardless.

Temps will be just a few degrees cooler tomorrow with the clouds and north wind.

As skies begin to clear out Tuesday, temps will begin to climb. Mid 80s are likely by the second day of the work week with the slimmest of rain chances.

Temperatures will continue to soar through the work week, peaking at the 90 degree mark by Thursday.

Better rain and storm chances return by the tail end of the work week which will help to knock temps down as we exit Summer and enter the Fall season.

Fall officially begins late Saturday next weekend, and right on cue, temps will drop below average by Sunday and Monday next week.
