Scattered storms today with cooler temperatures Thursday
A few light sprinkles this morning with temperatures in the lower 70s. Showers and storms will be scattered throughout the day with some turning strong to severe. Marginal risk of severe weather today with the main threat being damaging winds. Highs today will slowly warm to the upper 70s. Showers and storms will begin to fizzle out during the evening with clouds rapidly decreasing throughout the overnight. Lows will plummet to the lower 50s with a few locations in the 40s.
Grab the jacket Thursday as temperatures will a good 20° colder compared to past mornings. Lots of sunshine throughout the day making for a crisp fall like day as highs o the upper 50s. A cool way to end the work week with highs still below the average high in the lower 50s. Friday night football might be on the chilly side with lows closing in for the upper 30s.
This weekend looks great for any festive fall activities. Highs in the 50s both Saturday and Sunday. Saturday will be dry and sunny with a better chance of scattered showers Sunday afternoon.
