Seasonable this weekend, then very cold air to follow

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — After a cold end to the week, we will steer towards seasonable air for the weekend. This will, however, lead way to rain chances with much colder air to follow.

Friday night: Clouds will increase after sunset in what will be a cold night on tap for us. Lows will dip into the upper 20s to low 30s.

Saturday: A warmer afternoon is on deck for our Saturday under mostly cloudy skies. Clouds will linger around ahead of our next chance for rain with showers developing by the overnight hours into early Sunday. Highs will rise into the upper 40s to low 50s with winds staying at a light breeze.

Sunday: Have the umbrella handy for your Sunday. Showers are likely through the morning and early afternoon hours. The activity is set to be mainly gone by sunset.

Highs will top out in the upper 40s to low 50s.

8-Day Forecast: Prepare for a cold start to the week next week as temperatures will not be able to get out of the 30s. Some locations Tuesday morning could wake up to sitting in the teens. We look to bring in slightly warmer air by Thanksgiving Day, but this will come with additional rain chances. At this time, there are not any heavy impacts for Thanksgiving travel.
