Showers continue through Saturday

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH)– We’re in store for a soggy Friday evening. If you’re headed to the Pacers game be sure you bring along the umbrella. Showers will continue tonight and into the day Saturday.

We’ve already picked up about a three tenths to a half inch of rain today and more is arriving tonight and Saturday.

Lows Friday night will fall into the 30s for many locations around the state.

Steady showers will move into the eastern and central part of the state overnight and linger into the first part of Saturday morning.

In addition to the rain we’ll also see brisk winds out of the north at 10-20 miles per hour. That will put a bite in the air.

Temperatures start in the 30s Saturday morning and only climb into the middle to upper 40s for the afternoon. It wil be cloudy with showers on and off.

Western parts of the state may break into a little sunshine for the afternoon. This will allow temperatures to climb into the 50s.

The rain ends Saturday afternoon and the clouds begin to clear by the evening. Look for lots of sunshine on Easter Sunday. Highs will climb into the upper 60s close to 70. That’s right around normal for this time of year.

The start of the work week looks warm and dry. Rain will move back into the area on Tuesday and Wednesday. Highs will stay in the 70s for most of next week.
