Skies clear out; chilly temperatures on tap overnight

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Numbers dip to the middle 40s across central Indiana for Friday morning.

Tonight:

Pesky clouds across much of central Indiana, along with light showers in southeastern Indiana, will finally move out by mid evening.

Clear skies overnight will make for a chilly start Friday morning.  Lows fall to the middle 40s.

Friday:

Sun filled start to the day should give way to some clouds for the afternoon.  We could see a quick shower or two near the evening drive, as a frontal boundary pushes through.  Any rain chance would be done by early evening.

Highs top out in the middle 70s.

Weekend:

Saturday looks dry all day, but slightly cooler, with highs in the upper 60s.  A warm front moving through overnight heading into Sunday could bring some showers to far northern counties.

Otherwise, Sunday looks beautiful, with highs in the middle to upper 70s.

8-day forecast:

Warm and dry start to the work week, with highs in the lower 80s on Monday.  Next storm chances return for Tuesday and Thursday.
