Soggy start to Sunday

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Rain sticks around for the first half of the day before skies clear later tonight and colder air moves into the area.

TODAY: Rain continues throughout the first half of the day and ends in the early afternoon. Clouds begin to decrease late this afternoon and evening. Temperatures stay in the middle to upper 40s, which is right around normal for this time of the year.

TONIGHT: Skies begin to clear overnight and it turns chilly. Lows fall into the middle or upper 20s in many spots.

MONDAY: The cold front that brought us the rain on Sunday brings us colder air Monday. We’ll see lots of sunshine for the afternoon but it’s going to be chilly. Highs struggle to reach the upper 30s in many spots. Skies stay clear Monday night and lows dip into the lower 20s. Some spots may drop into the upper teens.

TUESDAY: Another dry day is on tap for Tuesday. We’ll see lots of sunshine and temperatures warm slightly. Highs near 42.

8DAY FORECAST: Temperatures warm to close-to-normal readings for Wednesday and Thursday. However, a system moves into the state, giving us a chance for rain late Wednesday night into the day Thursday. It looks like we’re in store for showers on Thanksgiving as a result. The rain clears out Friday for any shopping plans you may have but temperatures drop. Highs for Friday and into next weekend stay in the 30s.
