Sunny and breezy Sunday

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — It’s going to be a dry end to the weekend.

TODAY: Look for partly cloudy skies throughout the afternoon. If you’re heading to the Colts game to tailgate, temperatures start in the 40s and climb near 50 by lunch. It’s going to be seasonable with highs near 60, but it’s also going to be a bit breezy. Winds may gust out of the west at times today close to 20 mph.

TONIGHT: Skies start partly cloudy to mostly clear. It’s going to turn chilly. Temperatures will fall into the middle 30s across most of the state. Lows near 36.

MONDAY: A cold front moves through the area late Sunday night and early Monday. This will bring us a little more cloud cover during the day. Temperatures fall into the upper 40s near 50. There’s a slight chance we may see a few showers late Monday.

TUESDAY: Look for lots of sunshine as high pressure moves into the region. We’ll see highs in the upper 40s.

8DAY FORECAST: Dry weather continues for the rest of the work week. It stays chilly with temperatures running about 10 degrees below normal. Highs stay in the middle to upper 40s. Morning lows fall into the 30s and we will likely see a freeze ending the growing season. The next chance of rain won’t be until next Sunday, which is also the end of Daylight Saving Time.
