Sunny and pleasant holiday weekend
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH)–A cold front moved through central Indiana giving us lower humidity and a cooler start to the day.
FRIDAY: Look for a great day! We’ll see lots of sunshine, low humidity and pleasant temperatures. Highs climb into the middle and upper 70s which is a few degrees below normal for this time of year.
FRIDAY NIGHT: If you’re heading to any high school football games tonight you’re in store for some great weather. It will be clear, cool and comfortable. Overnight lows fall into the middle 50s.
SATURDAY: High pressure builds across the Great Lakes for the holiday weekend. Look for another great day on Saturday. Mostly sunny skies throughout the afternoon, low humidity and highs near 80.
SUNDAY: Much of the day will be dry. However clouds begin to increase later in the day. Humidity values also rise just a little. There’s a chance we may see a few showers later in the day toward evening but much of the day should be dry. Highs climb close to 80.
8DAY FORECAST: The weather pattern becomes a bit unsettled next week. Labor Day we’ll see a partly to mostly cloudy sky with a few showers or storms later in the afternoon. Highs climb into the 80s Monday and Tuesday. Temperatures drop back into the 70s for the rest of the week with several chances for showers and thunderstorms.
