Sunny and warm for Easter

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A chilly Saturday night will be followed by a warmer day for Easter Sunday.

Saturday night:

A few showers will linger into the early evening hours for Indianapolis and areas east of the city. 

The consistent rain we’ve seen for the past few days will finally comes to an end this evening. Skies begin to clear overnight. It will be chilly with lows in the 30s.

Sunday: 

We’ll see a chilly start for sunrise Easter services. Temperatures will warm quickly throughout the day. Look for lots of sunshine and warmer temperatures for the afternoon. Highs climb into the upper 60s and lower 70s.

8-day Forecast: 

Temperatures warm even more Monday. Look for highs in the middle 70s with partly cloudy skies. Showers and even a few scattered thunderstorms will return to the area on Tuesday. Rain chances linger into Wednesday and Thursday, but we will dry out for the weekend. 

High temperatures will stay at or slightly above normal for the next week.
