INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Temperatures jump to the 80s with multiple rain chances through the extended.

Relatively quiet this evening under mostly clear conditions. We do expect some fog to develop overnight into the morning hours of Thursday.

Lows fall to the lower 50s.

Fog could be thick in some areas Thursday morning. We expect that to lift by late morning, leaving us mostly sunny in the aftenroon with warm temperatures. Highs hit the middle to upper 70s.

A boundary sliding in from the north will spark showers and storms across the area late Thurday night. A storm or two could reach severe limits.

Scattered showers and storms expected through the morning. Could have a strong storm possible in our northern counties.

The rest of the day should be quiet and warm, with highs jumping to the middle 80s.

Half and half weekend on tap, with very warm temperatuers. Dry with highs in the mid 80s Saturday. Showers and storms likely for Sunday, with highs in the lower 80s.

8 day forecast:

Pattern remains active heading into the new work week. A few rounds of storms will be possible, and highs should remain well above average.
