Tracking Tuesday night’s rain and storms

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — We walked into a hot and much more humid afternoon for our Tuesday across the state. We are also continuing to monitor rain and storm chances with the threat for strong to severe storms this Tuesday evening and night.

Tuesday night: Cloud cover will thicken ahead of incoming showers and storms. Rain chances will last into the overnight hours.

Lows will dip into the low to mid 60s.

Wednesday: Spotty showers and storms are possible during the first half of our Wednesday. Cloud cover will linger around throughout the day. It will not be as warm as our Tuesday was due to the lack of sunshine. Highs will only rise into the upper 70s to low 80s.

Thursday: Although there is the chance for spotty shower or two, we will have a mainly dry Thursday. Cloud cover will partially decrease, which will help us warm into the low 80s.

8-Day Forecast: Warmer air will gradually return into the state for the remainder of the week. As we warm back up, low rain chances will linger around into the first half of the weekend. Highs look to get back into the upper 80s by Sunday.
