Unsettled Friday to end the workweek

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — After a brief break from the sweltering heat in central Indiana yesterday, we tapped back into the 90s for our Thursday. We also saw sporadic showers and storms through the day.

Thursday night: A few isolated showers and storms will remain possible tonight.

We will keep the warm and muggy night trend going with lows dipping into the low 70s.

Friday: A rinse and repeat of Thursday’s weather is expected for our Friday with the heat and humidity. Isolated to scattered showers and storms are possible at practically any point in the day. No severe weather is expected.

Highs will rise into the low 90s.

Weekend: Hot and humid conditions are set to persist throughout the final full weekend of August. Isolated to scattered showers and storm chances are in place for Saturday and Sunday. We look to also attempt to tack on more 90° days as well.

8 Day Forecast: Rain and storm chances look to stay in the picture through the first half of next week. As we progress throughout the week, we will gradually bring in cooler air. Humidity levels will also slowly taper off throughout next week as well.
