Unsettled pattern continues

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — We continued our muggy and active weather pattern through our Tuesday with on and off showers and storms across the state.

Tuesday night: Showers will remain likely before sunset with even a few heavy downpours possible. Isolated flooding will also be a possibility south of interstate 70.

Lows will dip into the upper 60s to low 70s for what will be another warm and humid night.

Wednesday: You will want to keep the rain gear on hand for your Wednesday. We are tracking numerous showers to roll into the state along with a few storms. The concern for flooding will continue mainly for locations south of interstate 70.

Highs will be around average for this time of the year with numbers topping out in the low to mid 80s.

Thursday: Do not set aside the rain gear too soon as Thursday will also feature a high chance for rain and storms.

Highs will stick around on the warm side as we will rise into the low to mid 80s. We will also feel rather unsettled with feels like temperatures closer to the 90° mark.

8 Day Forecast: A hot and humid end to the week is expected with additional scattered showers and storms. Rain and storm chances will gradually taper off throughout the upcoming weekend as we lock into the mid 80s for our high temperatures. As we work our way into the first half of next week, we will bring in a nice and slow cooldown with highs dropping into the upper 70s by next Wednesday.
