Warm and humid stretch
Summer like temperatures for this weekend as highs soar to the mid 80s this afternoon! Dew points wil also sky rocket making it feel thick and uncomfortable. Feel like temperatures this afternoon could tickle the 90° mark. Clear and quiet for tonight with lows in the upper 60s and lower 70s. Another great day Sunday with highs in the 80s with highs humidity. Clouds begin to increase as remnants of Florence track up the Ohio Valley and then back out the east coast.
Scattered showers are possible for the start of the work week. Nothing heavy is expected and most of the showers will be contained in eastern portions of the state. Highs Monday will be a touch cooler but still in the lower 80s. After Florence exists expect to se e a pretty quiet week. Highs still remain on the warmer side rebounding to the mid to upper 80s by Tuesday!
Our next significant weather maker arrives by Friday and might provide a bit of splash for Friday night football. Highs will also begin to cool off to the lower 80s. A few shower will stick around for Saturday with highs significantly cooler in the lower 70s.
