Warm and humid Sunday with isolated rain chances

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH)–There’s a slight chance we may see an isolated shower south of Indy this evening. High heat and humidity return next week.

TONIGHT: We may see an isolated shower pop up south of Indianapolis this evening. Otherwise look for skies to become mostly clear overnight. Some areas of patchy fog may develop by sunrise. Lows fall into the upper 60s.

SUNDAY: It’s going to be warm and humid for race day! Highs climb into the middle and upper 80s. Skies stay partly cloudy through much of the day. There’s a chance we may see a few isolated showers pop up around the state but they shouldn’t impact the race.

SUNDAY NIGHT: Look for mostly clear skies and mild temperatures. Lows fall into the upper 60s.

MONDAY: There’s a slight chance for an isolated shower in the morning. Look for mostly sunny skies during the afternoon. It’s going to be hot and humid with highs climbing into the upper 80s.

Two tropical storms will need to be watch during the next few days. Laura and Marco are both expected to head into the Gulf of Mexico early next week.

8DAY FORECAST: The 90s are going to be making a come back! Look for lots of sunshine, high humidity and highs in the lower 90s both Tuesday and Wednesday. Showers and a few thunderstorms are possible for the end of the workweek.
