Warm start to the week

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Highs climbed into the upper 60s and close to 70 in many spots Sunday afternoon with lots of sunshine.

On Sunday evening, we’ll see clear skies with temperatures falling back into the lower 60s.

It won’t be as cold Sunday night as it was Saturday night. Temperatures will only fall into the middle to upper 40s.

We’ll see lots of sunshine to start Monday, but clouds will begin to increase later in the afternoon and evening.

Temperatures will start in the 40s in Monday morning then climb into the middle 70s for the afternoon. Clouds will begin to increase late Monday night.

A cold front will move through Tuesday and bring a chance for scattered showers and even a few thunderstorms during the afternoon. It will be breezy and warm with highs in the lower 70s.

Rain chances will continue for Wednesday and Thursday. While it won’t be an all-day rain, showers will be possible with mostly cloudy skies.

Temperatures will stay at or slightly above normal for the next eight days. Look for lots of sunshine Friday and Saturday. There’s a slight chance we may see a few showers Sunday, but highs will stay in the lower 70s.
