Warm weekend ahead

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — We worked in scattered showers and isolated storms to end the workweek on an active note. Dry and warmer air will settle in for our upcoming weekend.

Friday night: A few isolated showers remain possible before sunset. Lows will fall into the upper 50s to low 60s for what will be a mild night.

Saturday: After a mild start to our Saturday, we will stroll into a warm afternoon with lots of sunshine. Highs will rise into the upper 70s to low 80s.

Sunday: The warming trend is set to continue into our Sunday. Expect it to feel closer to summer in the afternoon hours with plenty of sunshine, breezy winds, and higher humidity values. Highs look to climb into the mid 80s.

8-Day Forecast: Warm and breezy conditions continue to kick off the new workweek. Rain and storm chances will also return for Monday as well. At this time, there is the possibility of isolated strong to severe storms in the second half of Monday. Cooler air will gradually settle into the state for the remainder of next week.
