Warmer temperatures ahead

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — We had a wet early Thursday morning before we worked in some sunshine during the day. Additional showers formed in the afternoon hours.

Thursday night: We will continue to track scattered showers and isolated storms for the remainder of our Thursday and going into early Friday.

Lows will bottom out in the low 60s.

Friday: A damp start to our Friday is expected. Isolated to scattered showers are possible before sunset.

Some sunshine will enter the picture during our Friday afternoon, which will help temperatures rise into the mid 70s.

Weekend: We will stroll into a warm weekend as the recent active weather moves out of our area. Plenty of sunshine is set to settle in as we warm into the low 80s for both Saturday and Sunday.

8-Day Forecast: Warm weather looks to stick around to start the new workweek next week with returning rain chances. Dry time will quickly return and persist through much of the rest of next week. Highs will slide back into the low to mid 70s after Monday.
