Warmer temperatures this week

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The last full week of April produces temperatures above average for the entire extended forecast.

Today:

Dry pattern settles in, leaving us quiet, with increasing clouds through the day. Temperatures will run warm, topping out in the middle and upper 70s this afternoon.

Tonight:

Relatively quiet weather. Look for mostly cloudy skies, and comfortable temps overnight. Lows fall to the upper 50s.

Tuesday:

The first of a few rain chances. Boundary moves through Tuesday afternoon, sparking a few showers, and possibly even a thunderstorm – with the best chance for this happening in the southern half of the state for the afternoon-early evening hours.

Highs will run cooler – topping out in the middle 60s.

8-day forecast:

Wednesday and Thursday both should be pretty quiet, with only isolated shower chances both days. Friday, the sun comes back out in full force, before another system takes aim on the state to kick off the weekend, Saturday.
