Warmer temperatures this weekend

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH)–Clear and cold tonight.

TONIGHT: We’re in store for a clear but cold night across the state. Temperatures fall into the lower teens and upper single digits in spots. Winds stay light so wind chill values only drop into the lower single digits and close to zero.

SATURDAY: We’ll start off with a little sunshine Saturday morning but clouds quickly return for the rest of the day. Much of the daylight hours stay dry. It’s going to be a little warmer for the afternoon. Highs climb closer to normal in the upper 30s.

SATURDAY NIGHT: Mostly cloudy skies Saturday night. There’s a slight chance we may see a few flurries or a light mix. Temperatures fall around freezing.

SUNDAY: Skies stay partly to mostly cloudy. It’s going to be dry and a temperatures climb a little more. Highs climb into the lower 40s.

8DAY FORECAST: Rain arrives on Monday as a storm system moves into the state. Highs climb close to 50 Monday. Rain continues Monday night and early Tuesday morning. The precipitation may change over to a little light snow early Tuesday morning. By the afternoon the precipitation heads and we’ll be dry for the rest of the day. Temperatures drop back into the 30s for the middle part of the work week.
