We’re tracking our next chance for showers and storms

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Enjoy dry conditions Tuesday night; showers and storms return Wednesday.

Tuesday night:
Clouds will increase ahead of our next chance for storms. Isolated showers and thunderstorms will develop overnight. It will not be as cool as Monday night; temperatures will only fall to the mid 60s,

Wednesday:
Prepare for scattered showers and thunderstorms. Strong to severe storms are possible. Storms will bring heavy downpours and strong gusty winds. It will be a warm and muggy afternoon; expect temperatures in the low 80s. Keep the rain gear handy as spotty showers and storms will continue through Wednesday evening.

Thursday:
Slightly warmer temperatures are expected by the afternoon. Skies will remain cloudy through the day, and we can’t rule out an isolated afternoon shower or storm. Temperatures will warm to the low to mid 80s.

Friday:
Skies will remain cloudy as temperatures will once again warm to the low 80s in the afternoon. A few scattered showers and storms will develop. If you have plans to see the Indiana Fever at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, prepare for wet weather.

8 Day forecast:
Scattered thunderstorms are expected at times this weekend. Isolated strong to severe storms are possible through Monday. Enjoy temperatures in the low 80s on Saturday and Sunday. Prepare for a few lingering showers Monday before we finally dry out.
