Snow showers, bitter cold on the way

Another clipper will dive into the state overnight and bring pesky scattered snow showers to the state.

THIS EVENING: It should be a quiet evening with increasing clouds. Temperatures will stay fairly mild in the mid 30s.

SNOW SHOWERS, WIND AND COLD OVERNIGHT: A clipper will slice through the state overnight, bringing some bursts of flurries and snow showers. There may be enough to coat roads East and North of Indy, but accumulations should be minor, if any. Temps will tumble into the 20s and the wind will pick up a lot.

BITTER COLD TUESDAY WITH SOME SCATTERED SNOW SHOWERS: Wind chill values will drop into the single digits early tomorrow, and it will stay very cold through the day. Temps will only hover in the mid 20s and wind chill values will stay in the teens.

8-DAY FORECAST, ACTIVE PATTERN: Another clipper arrives Wednesday, with some snow showers scattered in Northern and NE Indiana. Some flurries could linger Thursday. A storm system to watch could be late Friday as, we could see some snow showers return as we transition to a mild weekend, with highs in the mid to upper 40s. Late Sunday could see a wintry mix as we will track a possible southern storm system.
